​I'm a video producer and documentarian whose work captures the emotional depth of cultural narratives and community life, often rooted in the borderland region of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez.

 

With a visual style grounded in honesty and clarity, I center each project around the heart of the story—the people. I am to draw out the soul, emotion, and lived experience behind every frame.

 

I collaborate closely with sound and music producer Roberto Portillo (known in the electronic music scene as RUEGATE / CROCAT and as the co-founder of Lowers netlabel) to shape sound as an active storytelling element—enhancing message, memory, and mood.

I was raised between two cultures and I've been driven by a deep understanding of place, a perspective that is grounded in empathy and visual clarity. My work often highlights the culture, creative labor, and the subtle intersections of identity and landscape.

I also bring a multidisciplinary practice to my filmmaking, drawing from my experiences as a professional photographer, graphic designer, and community college instructor.
